Dark Horizons is reporting that Woody Allen has cast Colin Farrell and Ewen McGregor as "two brothers with serious financial problems that lead them to become enemies when a third party suggests they turn to crime".
It begins filming in London next month.
Look, I know it's kind of "in" to bash celebrities like Colin Farrell... hey, i may have even done it the other day, his personal life aside, the man does good work.
And here's my huge confession of the day. I have a slight crush on Ewen McGreggor. I think he's awesome. I'll watch him in anything.
I even liked The Island...
But then I also have a slight crush on Scarlett Johansson.
Anyway. I thought Match Point was Woody Allen's best film EVER, and i am so looking forward to Scoop (which stars Scarlett Johansson and Hugh Jackman and is due sometime this summer) that I hope this is the beginning of a whole new era for Mr. Allen.
