A while back, Jenny reported on Samuel L. Jackson signing on to the sci-fi time travel flick Jumper, because he loves to jump. Then came the news that Hayden Christensen was joining the cast, which I don't think we reported on, because, well... it's Hayden Christensen, you know?
But now comes the news that cute l'il teen idol Max Thieriot, who you may have seen in Disney's Catch That Kid or starring alongside Vin Diesel in The Pacifier, will be joining the cast to play the young time-travelled version of Christiansen, who, coming from an abusive household, develops the ability to jump through time.
Wouldn't it have been funny if they chose Jake Lloyd to be the young Hayden? Although i guess he's much too old now. Too bad.
In a perfect world, he'd go back in time and remove the "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" scene from Sith.
Doug Liman will be directing the film from the novel by Stephen Gould.
