Brian Cox has let slip some information on his character in HBO's Deadwood which returns to the pay cable outlet this summer.  I am not much of a television watcher, but I find Deadwood to be incredibly captivating.  So far the two seasons have been densely plotted masterpieces, and the episode where a kidney stone was forcibly removed from Ian McShane's penis has provided me with enough bed time fantasy for the next 30 years.  Brian Cox will be joining the cast this summer as Jake Langrish.  Langrish had a traveling troop of dramatists.  Historically, Langrish actually debuted The Mikado in Deadwood.  You can read all the exciting details at Empire Online.  But be forewarned, the article contains mild spoilers about a new storyline featuring Cox.
