Last we heard about John Cusack, he and Leather Lass were having some problems...
But for all of you out there wishing for a sequel to Cusack's wonderfully quirky assassin flick Grosse Pointe Blank, this may be as close as you're going to get...
Cusack is set to star with sister Joan Cusack along with Hilary Duff and Marisa Tomei in Brand Hauser: Stuff Happens, a dark political satire co-written and produced by Cusack, according to Variety.
He'll again play an assassin assigned to kill a Middle East oil minister, with his cover being that he's producing a big trade show that includes a wedding between a local pop star and a politico. Of course, things don't go as planned.
Shooting is expected to begin later this month in Bulgaria.
Look for Cusack to appear alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the spooky 1408 (based on a Stephen King short story) as well...
