Spidey 3 Trailer Weaves Web of Destruction

Talk about your massive media blitzes...

An all-new, full-length, 2 1/2-minute trailer for Spider-Man 3 is about to be unleashed on the world today, broadcasting across a number of Viacom's media networks on TV as well as the Internet.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, on CBS the trailer will air after CSI and before the Shark. On Comedy Central, the trailer will run before a new South Park episode, while MTV will show the spot before a new Real World/Road Rules Challenge. Other TV networks airing the trailer include BET, Logo, MTV2, Spike TV and VH1, with each supporting the event with custom promotions.

In addition, 14 online destinations from Viacom's networks are supporting the airing, including AddictingGames.com, AddictingClips.com, BET.com, MTV.com, IFilm.com, Nick.com, ComedyCentral.com, GameTrailers.com, LogoOnline.com, Neopets.com, SpikeTV.com, The-N.com, VH1.com, and Xfire.com.

Immediately after the television premiere, a high-definition version of the trailer will be available exclusively on  IFilm.com.

Sniff... news like this reminds me of Jenny From Canada and her Spidey-Loving ways... we miss you Jenny, wherever your parents have you locked away.

Why during the ad breaks?

From the time I've spent in the wonderful USA, it certainly seems the same the UK, in that you postpone any snack/beverage preperation or restroom-related activities to the ad breaks (which is why the ad's are always louder than the show you're watching, so they can shout after you as you leave to make a coffee, "HEY!!! YOU THERE!!! COME BACK!! I'M GONNA TELL YOU ABOUT CARPET CLEANER YOU FOOOOOOL!!!")

So they decide to put something cool on right in the ad break, those senseless bastards. How about, at the start of tonights Shark, just have Sebastian, lying across the couch, watching TV, and closes in on the screen, and the Spiderman trailer plays, and then Stark gets up, and carries on the episode in his dramatic fashion.

And yeah, come back Jenny!! I'd donate money to a Free Jenny fund, but ya know, I'm a student and I've got bills to pay, so I don't have any spare cash. Nina said she'd cover my donation for me, though :)

looks like one of those kids that from the Sonic kids meal... that whole extreme snowboarder look is kinda lame.. i hope they didn't go with that.

if you could control sand.. wouldn't it be easier to work it into their lungs and suffocate them instead of trying to hit them with a sand hammer??
