Really I think the truth is that Smallville will feature billionaire archer and Robin Hood wannabe, Oliver Queen, AKA The Green Arrow, for like 8 episodes of Smallville this season. Alfred Gough, who created Smallville with Miles Millar, says Queen is showing up in the tiny town because he's all about forming a Justus League of sorts. He describes it as "nascent" which I am too lazy to dictionary.com. But ironically, I can write two whole sentences about it.
So the cool news in addition it that is that Oliver Queen is going to be played by hunky heartthrob Justin Hartley of the avast-we-hardly-knew-thee Aquaman tv show.
Inside scoop says Zatanna's going to show up and poof away both he AND Clark's clothes.
In all honesty? This is totally excellent news. I don't know jack pancakes about Oliver Queen or The Green Arrow, but archery is cool looking, right? But I do love how Green Arrow was portrayed on that Justice League cartoon that left the air this year. He was like a hippy kind of guy, but really rich. So it's going to be fun in another way. If like Oliver Queen is a good rich guy, then how cool will it be for him to face down a bad rich guy in the form of Lex Luthor. Sparks will fly and one can only hope for rugged mano on mano greased wrestling and stuff.
What? When guys make those jokes about women it always gets a laugh. Stupid double standards.
