With the recent news about Shazam! getting the the big screen treatment, it finally seems that Warner Bros. is finally ready to bring some of DC Comics impressive properties to the big screen.  Batman Returns was stellar, Superman Returns looks promising, and I even liked Constantine.  Flash is in development along with Wonder Woman, and now we can add Sgt. Rock to the list of in development DC properties.  Although I seem to remember this being in development a while ago.  Wasn't Arnold Schwarzenegger attached to play Sgt. Rock at some point?  Or maybe he was going to play a Nazi governor or something.  Manic west coast producer Joel Silver is handing the production and he has just hired screen writer John Cox.  Heh.
