And she is a shining beacon of lust to young men everywhere who watched White Palace.
Production Weekly says that Sarandon, never one to shy away from political issues, is in talks to co-star with gorgeous bitch Charlize Theron in Battle in Seattle. The movie is Theron's pet project with her boyfriend, actor Stuart Townshend, who has written the film and will make his directorial debut at its helm.
Nina was a big fan of Barry Ackroyd's camerawork in United 93, so she will be happy to hear that he will be behind the camera of Battle as well.
The movie centers on the real-life events surrounding the World Trade Organization's Third Ministerial in Seattle on November 30, 1999, and the 40,000 to 60,000 protesters who ground the summit to a halt, protesting about the Haves vs. the Have Nots, among other things.
Theron will play Lou, a pregnant woman who ends up losing her baby in the midst of the protests. Sarandon's character will play a TV news reporter who sympathizes with the protestors, but who turns on her editor after he sensationalizes her coverage.
Production begins in October, with 5 weeks of principal photography in and around the Seattle area, including Vancouver.
