Rocky Balboa Trailer!

"ADRIEN!  YO ADRIEN!!"

No Adrien?

Apparently not in the latest Rocky sequel, Rocky 6, or Rocky Balboa.  It's as if Sylvester Stallone said "come on, there's no way the chicks are going to buy into any of this... why waste script time on Adrien?"

But hey, let's be honest... is ANYBODY going to buy into any of this?  Sadly, yes... as aging guys like my ex- go through their mid-life crisis, they need somebody to tell them that it's okay, that they're still virile, that they still matter, that they're still attractive... despite the fact that most of them never were any of those things.  Hey, don't shoot the messenger!

But Rocky is back in the ring, and Yahoo! has the trailer... we see Rocky decide to get back into the ring to fight the current champ, Mason Dixon, after a sports show simulation says he can win!  Oh, that Rocky!

The thing that amazes be is that Burt Young is back as Paulie... he is SO good in that role that watching him even after the first film I would never have bet that he'd even be ambulatory by the second, but here he is 30 years later, chugging along in Number Six.

But I have to give credit where credit is due... that's one helluva screenshot.  If I play my cards right, I just might be able hoodwink someone into going with me... AND buy me dinner!  You men make it SO easy.

Yes, it's great being a girl!

I'm still stunned that a sixth Rocky film actually exists

But not as stunned as I am at Sly's physique. The guy is 60! I don't look that good NOW, and I'm half his age! *sigh*

Sadly they don't test actors for performance enhancing drugs

I'm not saying he does but dang.

Call me crazy...

...but I think this one might actually work.  People forget that there was once a GOOD Rocky movie... one that earned 3 Academy Awards, including Best Picture.  Also don't forget that Sly Stallone had something in him once that enabled him to become the third person ever to be nominated for Best Actor and Best Writer in the same year, behind only Charlie Chaplin and Orson Welles.
