Someone at Empire Magazine was flipping through TV Guide (the whole "source" thing can be confusing sometimes) where they read an interview with JK Simmons (J. Jonah Jameson). Here's a quote, they quoted regarding Sam Raimi's possible return to the directors chair for Spider-Man 4:
“Yeah, it got mentioned. In fact, the last couple of days I shot were at the very end of the schedule — we were doing some night-action scenes in New York — and Sam was talking about it. It's not a done deal because everybody's deals, including his and all the actors', was for three pictures. But he's certainly open to doing more.”
No offence to JK, but I would have more faith in gossip I hear from Craft Services. I mean, JK is on set, what, three or four days? Craft Services are there EVERY DAY.
Anyway, not like I'm objecting to the idea... I just think JK is shooting his mouth off to get press.
And here I am giving it to him.
