Sarah Jessica Parker, from the overrated and absurd Sex and the City, has signed on to star in The Family Affair. Affair is about a spunky young gal who has a fling with an older man. Then she gets engaged to someone else. When she goes to meet her fiance's parents--guess what? It turns out that her future father-in-law is the older man she slept with!

I was kind of hoping this was going to be a remake of the classic television series Family Affair with Parker as the mom.
