Wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson (The Mummy Returns, Doom), aka The Rock, will be starring in a family comedy entitled The Game Plan.
According to Empire Online:
His Rockness has signed on to play an American footballer who is used to his comfortable bachelor lifestyle of no strings and no family. But his life is turned upside down when a former girlfriend dies and he discovers he has a seven-year-old daughter he’s now responsible for.
The film will also feature Roselyn Sanchez as The Rock's love interest, and young Madison Pettis presumably as his daughter.
I am not so sure how funny this film will be if it begins with a death, nor how successful it will be since the story seems to be similar to that of Jersey Girl, which starred Hollywood's golden couple of ten minutes ago, Bennifer, and was a critical and financial disappointment.
