Empire Online has a preliminary report on that handsome Will Smith starring in a new thriller from 20th Century Fox called Greenbacks. Apparently it's about some evil plot to destroy the world's economy by printing perfect counterfeit money. Smith will play an American who gets just happens to get involved. Is he just going to sit back and let it happen?

No word yet on directors or dates or costars... we do know that the two guys who co-wrote The Rock are wrote the script. Expect Sean Connery to co-star and explain to Will the difference between winners and losers.
