So I have become kind of addicted to Newsarama.com, right? And sometimes I am over there reading news about comics I don't even like or know about, but it's all pretty cool. They seem totally nice and smart and like geeky in all the right ways. And by that I mean, I appreciate that I can read their thoughts and not have to watch them talk about it. Things that make you go, "ew".
So one of the things I really dislike about Newsarama is their frequent interviews with Marvel Editor in Chief, Joe Quesada. Up front? I don't have a problem with the way this guys is doing is job. Comics are totally fun right now, and Marvel has some good stuff cookin'. But man. That Quesada. His interviews are less about sharing actual information from the Marvel bullpen and more about him just talking. I mean why else does he do a weekly interview at Newsarama where like 92% of his answers is always, "KEEP READING". That's not even a good tease.
So Quesada is going to be on the Colbert Report tonight, and I am going to watch because at the point, it's like a train wreck. I am only watching so that when Stephen Colbet asks stuff like, "So what was the genenis behind this whole Civil War storyline?", I can laugh my fool head clean off when Quesada responds, "KEEP READING".
Enough of that!
The Colbert Report airs at 11:30 PM EST. Check. It. Out.
