Jumper "Jumps" into pre-production (ha ha)

Regency Enterprise is gearing up to turn Steven Gould's novel, Jumper into a feature film trilogy.

The story is about a kid who comes from a broken home that discovers he has the ability to teleport.

Now, while the premise sounds kinda gay to me, the book has a four-and-a-half star rating on Amazon.com.  No that's not a click-through, it's for your convenience.

I read some of the reviews, and the book actually looks pretty good.  Maybe I'll read it... Maybe I'll read it and review it for this site (that will make the editors so happy, i can't even begin...)

So there.  Ok, I'll read this gay-sounding book, so when more news about the movie comes out, i'll know what i'm talking about.

Anyway, so far, the movie stars Jamie Bell, Tom Sturridge and Teresa Palmer.  It will be directed by Mr. & Ms. Smith director Doug Liman.
