The Weinstein Company has snapped up the distribution rights to Hong Kong action movie Dragon Tiger Gate.  The movie is about kung fu and karate.  Or both.  The version we see might be edited somewhat and have an anachronistic rap sound track.  I have a feeling the movie will also feature acrobatic stunts that defy physics.  Perhaps some of these stunts will be accomplished using a complicated system of pulleys and levers.  The movie will be based on the Chinese comic The Gate of Dragon and Tiger, and it's about three incredibly skilled martial artists who fight for justice.  Oh and the name had to obviously change because of that Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon movie.  And with that, I conclude my news for the day.
