Yeah I know that's like the worst and belabored headline in the long cruel history of hinky entertainment headlines, but I had to go for it, right?
Anyway, John Favreau, the recently announced director charged with the (nearly impossible) task of bringin Marvel Comics' Iron Man to the big screen has done what many great directors like Stanley Kubrick and Sam Peckinpah have done before him. He's gone to myspace to seek out casting ideas from random dorks around the planet.
The Iron Man Movie Group appeared like magic about a week ago, and it has since become a hotbed of discussion on topics ranging from who should be cast, how the armor should be portrayed and if War Machine (?!?) should be in the movie. I am not sure if Favs has been back or if he bolted after the 40th person suggested Oded Fehr for the role of Tony Stark, but really... what the heck were you thinking Favs? As the only member of Flixens with a myspace account (yeah just try to find it kids), I have to tell you that it's a cultural vacuum of mythic proportions now. I mean seriously. Oded Fehr?
You can drop your 2 cents into the madness here.
