Diane Lane, who, like Susan Sarandon, is a shining beacon of hope to middle-aging women everywhere, has lined up her next gig. Last seen as Toni Mannix in the George Reeves murder/mystery Hollywoodland, she's now signed on to Untraceable, a suspense thriller from the unfortunately named Greg Hoblit.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will focus on Lane as an FBI agent trying to track down a ruthless online predator, and is expected to begin shooting in February.
Sort of The Silence of the Lambs meets The Mark Foley Scandal I guess.
The final script was written by Allison Burnett, who also wrote the upcoming Feast of Love, which we've talked about from time to time, from an original screenplay by Robert Fyvolent and Mark R. Brinker.
