"Deja Vu" for Washington, Scott, Bruckheimer

Third time's a charm for Denzel Washington, director Tony Scott, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.  The trio have teamed up before for Man on Fire and Crimson Tide, and are now set to bring Déjà Vu to audiences on November 22.  The film also stars Val Kilmer, Paula Patton, Bruce Greenwood, Adam Goldberg and Jim Caviezel.

Here's the pitch:

Everyone has experienced the unsettling mystery of déjà vu – that flash of memory when you meet someone new you feel you’ve known all your life or recognize a place even though you’ve never been there before.  But what if the feelings were actually warnings sent from the past or clues to the future?  In the captivating new suspense-thriller from producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Tony Scott, written by Terry Rossio & Bill Marsilii, it is déjà vu that unexpectedly guides ATF agent Doug Carlin (DENZEL WASHINGTON) through an investigation into a shattering crime. Called in to recover evidence after a bomb sets off a cataclysmic explosion on a New Orleans Ferry, Carlin is about to discover that what most people believe is only in their heads is actually something far more powerful – and will lead him on a mind-bending race to save hundreds of innocent people.

Bollocks!

I watched the trailer and now I want to see this, even though I really didn't like Man on Fire.

I was ready to shut down the trailer the moment I saw one of location/time subtitles that seemed to accompany every change of scene in Man on Fire, but not a single one appeared. Happened a lot in Enemy of the State as well, but somehow due to the nature of the story it wasn't as grating.

Can any brave souls out there who say Domino say if that film was similarly plagued?

what was the name of that tv show

where there was a government project where the guy went back in time like 7 hours or days or something to fix things... this seems just like that. although, it looks like they spent a lot more money on it. ... and this also made me laugh cuz i swear they were rewording some iron maiden lyrics into the voice over..
