Back in July I told you that former Soundgarden and current Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell was going to be singing the theme song for the James Bond franchise reboot, Casino Royale.

I was very excited by the news, because I just love Cornell's voice and his whole "way" when it comes to music.  Yep... they call me ol' Nina "Head Banger" Kincaid.

But now the song has leaked its way onto YouTube, and I have to say...

"Meh."

Chris, Chris, Chris... not since that terrible Hero song from Spider-Man has a tentpole film theme been this generic.

It's hard when your idols fall off their pedestals.
