Maybe Jenny From Canada can shed some light on this subject for us, although I think her parents have told her she needed to "curtail" her online activities. But today, Reuters is reporting that the head of the Canadian Broadcasting Company, Guy Fournier, has resigned amidst controversy surrounding his remarks about bestiality and defecation.
Fournier outraged the country's Lebanese community and created an uproar in the media after saying that Lebanon allowed men to have sexual relations with female animals, but reserved the death penalty for those who did it with male animals.
And this past weekend, the CBC replayed an interview he gave back in May, in which he discussed, at length, the joys of bowel movements.
"He has increasingly lost the confidence of Canada's new government," Canadian Heritage Minister Bev Oda told the House of Commons. "I inform this House that I have received the voluntary resignation of Mr. Fournier effective today."
I think I speak for all confused citizens when I say "WTF?!?!"
