looks like a cold hearted badass. ive never been excited about a new bond film, but this one looks awesome. i was also glad that some newfangled bond gadget wasn't shown in the trailer. or did i miss it? i never liked that bit from the series. he would be given items that would have been great had he been in a different movie. he never seemed to save any of them.

The gadget aspect of the Bond movies has always bugged me. Often they can be one of the most fun things in any given Bond movie, but like you say, he never carried them over from movie to movie (with the possible exception of the laser watch)

I would have thought that having realised the value of exploding pen, or dart firing cigarettes or whatever, he'd make these things a standard part of his gear for all his missions.

I suppose Q could be on a tight budget...

The trailer does look great. Made me quite excited about a film I didn't have any real expectations for.
