I'm a little surprised that it looks like they may be wrapping up the whole "Resistance" thing a little quicker than I expected.  It seems that they may be off the planet in a few episodes?  I expected a long drawn-out conflict with parallels to our own current planetary situation.

Cold feet at the top, perhaps?

Frankly I'm glad the New Caprica storyline is wrapping up...the last thing I wanted this show to be was Battlestar Galactica: The Frontier Years. The parallels to our own world are plenty evident, and will continue back on board Galactica...check out the upcoming 'social' group called The Circle who take it upon themselves to punish Cylon collaborators.

The best show on television...I pray to the Gods BSG sticks its season three landing...

i dont want to see california wilderness. i can't wait till theyre off of that planet. i was actually a bit disappointed with the last episode. it usually takes years for someone to break in captivity and star buck just totally pussed out after being such a strong character. its not like she was even being mistreated or put the normal rigors of captivity.

It's been four months of captivity for Starbuck...of killing Leoben and watching him walk back in the door good as new...then, to top it all off, he slaps Kacey onto her lap ---> cheque please, she's done. The intensity of the situation easily explains her mental health.

re: Kacey. If Kacey really is Starbuck's kid (doubtful)...why all the fuss over Sharon's baby?

Assuming that KC is Starbucks, she was genetically bred in a test tube, whereas Sharon's baby was actually fertilized in utero, through the standard "human" reproductive process... i.e. sperms swimming their way to the egg, etc.

Did you SEE the look on Leoben's face when he saw Starbuck responding to KC?  It's all going according to his nefarious plan... he's been a liar right from the very beginning of the show.  He's the Cylon Loki.

We got to see Tigh's eye socket! 

In the end, whether or not Kayce is actually Starbuck's kid is second to the fact that we just can't have Kacey on board the Galactica. Can you picture it? Starbuck having to get a babysitter (perhaps Auntie Sharon?), so she can fly her viper missions...those painful bedtime chats "Mommy is going to go hurt the bad people...but I'll be back soon sweetheart, I'll be here when you get up..."

Ugh. No thanks...no offense to the Mommies in the crowd.

My guess ---> Starbuck will get separated from Kayce, but Kayce will pop up from time to time which will frack with Starbuck's mind. Kayce's actual paternity will be left unrevealed until much later.

And what about Tigh's eye? Is he doomed to an eye patch for the rest of the series, or will they find a handy-dandy glass eye? Perhaps dark shades to go with his new attitude? Maybe Ellen will give him one of hers...he earned it...

...when they first introduced her character.  But then they sort of threw us off the trail, even now.  But remember, like Sharon, some Cylons don't even know they're Cylons.

Boy oh boy...if Ellen IS a Cylon, she is gonna be really pissed off...but I just can't see it happening...I think she was just a reckless human...who demonstrated time after time that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions...

Interesting development of Zarek's character in Friday's episode. Roslin calls for a time of healing while Zarek institutes vigilante justice. Just when Roslin and Zarek were coming to an understanding of each other's methods, he throws that curveball in.

i thought the series started off with everyone being suprised that the cylons returned from out of no where... and not some armistace that was signed and an imaginary line in space... are there 3 dimensions?? have you ever noticed that no space movie ever has one ship flying upside down as compared to the other ships??? i mean, they all seem to have artificial gravity so there really isnt a relative "up"
