Will Arnett who played the daffy magician Gob on the magical Arrested Development is keeping his post Arrested dreams alive!  Hollywood Reporter is, uh... reporting that Arnett will take the lead in a new film called The Ambassador.  In the film, Arnett will play a privileged son of a former Vice President.  He gets appointed to what I imagine will be some sedate European country as an Ambassador.  At that point Arnett will turn out to be a typical ugly American.  And by that I hope it means white slavery and random bombings and dognappings and stuff.  I think Gob was funny and all, but wish he'd spread some of his success around.  He's in that Ice Age 2 movie right now.  He's shooting Blades of Glory, whatever that is.  He will also be appearing in the Robin Williams non-laughfilled comedy RV coming out next month.  I would like to see deal reports for the kids that played George Michael and Maebe.  They were so funny I could just drop dead!
