The story comes from Ain't It Cool News, and the robot/truck in question is Optimus Prime, known as the leader of the Autobots in the Transformers cartoon. That's too much science fiction jargon for me to handle.
Maybe the following picture means something to some of the fans out there. It's an image of Optimus Prime in his truck form, as he will appear in the upcoming Transformers live-action film, due in the summer of 2007.
The teaser trailer for the upcoming film was a super-teaser, not showing very much at all in terms of what we can expect. I had liked the poster, which Movie MILF had reported on, here, but the teaser was very forgettable. With regard to trailers in general, the line between showing too much or too little is a very fine one, and in this case it was too little I would say.
