The full trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest is now available online, and Ain't It Cool News have posted the link.
The first Pirates of the Caribbean was to me, the perfect summer entertainment film. It was rich with humor, action, the fantastic Johnny Depp delivering an amazing character, good use of special effects, and an interesting story; all of this fueled by a confident direction and excellent art direction.
And this summer, on July 7, we can enjoy the sequel! This is certainly a welcome sequel, if only just to re-experience what the first film brought audiences. Judging from the trailer, we can expect more of the same quality from this film as in the first Pirates, and I am personally very pleased about this!
Of course, Jack Sparrow is back in action!
And once again he is accompanied by Orlando Bloom, who will always appear surprised and have wind blowing through his hair.
And we cannot forget Keira Knightley and her wonderful wardrobe.
We can look forward to scary giant sea monsters.
And less giant, but equally scary sea monsters.
Some more scary sea monsters.
It all looks so great, the fans are happy!
Hopefully we can expect some impressive swashbuckling.
Thrilling sea battles!
And that everything looks very beautiful.
Most importantly, I hope the film has the ability to pull us into its world, and to surprise us.
