Earlier this week, I posted some incredibly important and inciteful commentary on the French language Casino Royale trailer that turned up on the net this weekend.  Now Sony has officially released an English lanugage version of the film.  The weird thing is, I don't like this teaser as much.  It mainly has to do with Judy Dench who is reprising her role as M.  I am not really bothered by her return in theory, but actually hearing her giving Bond a hard time as a new recruit is somewhat inappropriate in some intangible way.  Perhaps they should have cast someone new since this Bond is at the early stages of his career.  Regardless, the movie still looks to be quite excellent and exciting.  I am still impressed by a few of the huge set-pieces featured in the tease.  And by the way, I have a mammoth moniter and the trailer filled it up.  I haven't seen a studio use this format yet.  It loads quickly but isn't quite as crisp as some other formats.
